I remember one of Graham Cooke’s quotes, paraphrasing:
“In all situations and circumstances, it reveals:
WHO GOD IS TO ME and
WHO I AM IN GOD.”
The truth of the matter is: God’s character does not change despite of our circumstances. Nothing can shrink
the depth of the love of my Heavenly Father;
the authority and power in the name of my Lord Jesus;
the peace and assurance from the Holy Spirit,
Absolutely nothing.
So regardless of our battles, let us choose to
- TRUST in His holy name
- CALL upon Him
- RISE UP & STAND FIRM for who I am in Him
- LIFT UP the banner in the name of Jesus
Because it was never my battles but HIS through me
Out of His glorious mercy and grace, out of His love for me, HE
- ANSWERS me
- PROTECTS me
- SENDS HELP to me
- GRANTS me SUPPORT
- REMEMBERS & ACCEPTS my sacrifice
- GIVES me DESIRES of my heart
- MAKES my plans succeed
- GRANTS me all my requests
- GIVES me victory
For His name’s sake, He chooses to glorify Himself through me and through my circumstances, over and over again…
So SHOUT for JOY over my victories that are actually HIS!
Psalm 20
1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
2 May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.
3 May he remember all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.[b]
4 May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
5 May we shout for joy over your victory
and lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.
6 Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.
9 Lord, give victory to the king!
Answer us when we call!
